How long does it take to see results?

It depends on the service you choose.

Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatments are designed to reduce adult mosquito activity and can provide noticeable relief relatively quickly.

Our Station Protection Plan works differently. Stations target developing mosquitoes and are designed to reduce future mosquito populations over time. Because they focus on the mosquito lifecycle rather than immediate adult knockdown, results are generally more gradual.

Property conditions, weather, surrounding habitat, standing water, and mosquito pressure can all affect results.

Will you eliminate all the mosquitoes on my property?

No mosquito control service can guarantee that you won't see mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes are highly mobile and can travel onto your property from neighboring yards, wooded areas, wetlands, drainage areas, and other untreated breeding sites.

Our goal is to significantly reduce mosquito activity and help make your outdoor spaces more comfortable.

They address two different parts of the mosquito problem.

Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatments target adult mosquitoes and their resting areas to reduce mosquito activity around your outdoor living spaces.

Mosquito Station Protection focuses on prevention by targeting developing mosquitoes before they become biting adults.

Stations provide continuous population reduction between service visits, but they do not provide immediate knockdown of adult mosquitoes already present or mosquitoes flying onto your property from surrounding areas.

Station Protection customers can add a Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatment at a discounted rate when additional adult mosquito relief is needed.

What areas of my property are treated?

Standard mosquito treatments focus on the primary outdoor living areas approximately 25–30 feet around the main home or structure.

We target appropriate mosquito resting and harborage areas such as shrubs, vegetation, shaded areas, and other locations identified during service.

Larger properties or customers wanting treatment beyond the standard service area can request expanded coverage for an additional charge.

What products do you use?

Mosquito PI uses professional mosquito-control products selected according to property conditions, mosquito pressure, application needs, and product labeling.

We use a rotation of professional-grade products throughout the season to support effective mosquito control and resistance management.

Rather than relying on one product for every property and every visit, our goal is to select the appropriate treatment for the conditions we encounter.

Do you offer botanical mosquito treatments?

Yes. Botanical treatment options are available for customers who prefer them.

We're happy to discuss the differences between available treatment options and help determine which approach is appropriate for your property.

What happens if it rains after my mosquito treatment?

If significant rainfall occurs within four hours of your treatment, contact us.

We'll evaluate the timing and conditions and determine whether a complimentary re-service is appropriate.

What are mosquito control stations?

Mosquito control stations are discreetly placed around your property to provide continuous, prevention-focused mosquito population reduction.

The stations create targeted sites where mosquitoes interact with mosquito-control products designed to interrupt their development and reduce future populations.

How many stations will I receive?

Our standard Station Protection Plan includes four mosquito control stations strategically positioned around your property.

Placement is based on landscaping, shade, moisture, mosquito activity, and other property conditions. Stations are generally placed in discreet locations within landscaping rather than prominently in open areas of the yard.

How often are mosquito stations serviced?

Stations are professionally inspected, refreshed, and maintained bi-monthly.

We also monitor conditions and can adjust station placement when appropriate.

Will mosquito stations kill adult mosquitoes flying around my yard?

Station Protection is not an immediate adult mosquito knockdown treatment.

Its primary purpose is to reduce future mosquito populations by targeting the mosquito lifecycle. Adult mosquitoes can still travel onto your property from neighboring properties and surrounding areas.

If adult mosquito pressure becomes uncomfortable, Station Protection customers can add a Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatment at a discounted rate when needed.

Treatment & Product Stewardship

Are treatments appropriate around children and pets?

Mosquito PI applies pesticide products according to their label directions, including requirements regarding people and pets.

For professionally applied mosquito treatments, customers should keep people and pets away from the treatment area during application and follow the re-entry instructions provided for the products used.

We'll provide any service-specific instructions you need before or after treatment.

What about bees and other pollinators?

Pollinator protection is an important consideration when we treat a property.

We evaluate flowering vegetation, areas where pollinators may be actively foraging, environmental conditions, and other site-specific factors before making an application.

Products are applied according to label requirements, and treatments are targeted to appropriate mosquito resting areas rather than indiscriminately applied throughout the property.

If you maintain beehives on your property, please let us know before service so we can incorporate their location into our treatment plan.

Are all of your products EPA-registered?

We use professional pesticide products that are EPA-registered when registration is required, as well as products that may qualify for exemption from federal registration under FIFRA Section 25(b).

We may also use professional adjuvants, which are not themselves registered pesticides.

All products are used according to their applicable labels and manufacturer directions.

How often should I have my property treated?

That depends on the service you choose and the level of mosquito pressure around your property.

Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatments can be scheduled monthly or based on your individual needs. While mosquito activity along the South Carolina coast is often greatest during the warmer months, there is no required seasonal start date.

Station Protection is serviced bi-monthly and is designed to provide ongoing population reduction while you're enrolled in the service.

We'll help you choose an approach based on your property and how you use your outdoor spaces.

Do I need to be home during service?

Usually not.

As long as we have access to the necessary areas of your property, service can generally be completed without you being home. We'll communicate any special instructions when necessary.

Do you offer one-time mosquito treatments?

Yes.

Professionally Applied Mosquito Treatments can be scheduled individually, making them a good option for customers who want mosquito reduction without committing to an ongoing service.

They're also available when additional adult mosquito reduction is desired before outdoor gatherings or during periods of increased mosquito activity.

What if I'm still seeing mosquitoes?

Some mosquito activity is normal even when a mosquito-management service is working effectively.

If you're experiencing more activity than expected, contact us. We'll consider recent weather, standing water, surrounding habitat, mosquito pressure, and your current service to determine the appropriate next step.
